Integrative Approach
'What does this mean? It's a holistic approach. I have been trained and experienced in using various models and tools in supporting others in their growth processes, therefore I can draw from them all to integrate what is most suitable for your unique needs. I believe that a holistic approach is most effective in supporting people to grow. Below are the three main elements of what I can offer:
Spiritual Companioning/Direction
Spiritual direction is the intentional practice of coming alongside others to facilitate awareness, discovery and co-operation with the process of personal transformation. It involves deep listening, discerning and identifying where the "growing edges" are ie. the invitations to growth on the spiritual journey.
The traditional term: "Spiritual Direction" can be misleading because the process is actually non-directive. I will not be "directing" you anywhere, giving you unsolicited advice or expecting you to be anywhere where you are not! I prefer the term "Companion”. As a companion, I stay with you respectfully and attentively, honouring what is happening at your own pace. I can bring to the relationship navigation tools, prophetic insights and support for overcoming any potential obstacles (such as inner healing) when issues arise.
The goal of this intentional one-to-one relationship is to facilitate awareness and growth, which is where the name "Growing Edges" originates from.
Each individual has unique needs. I "hold space" for every person I accompany, practicing deep listening and focussed attention. I create a safe space for reflection and growth of awareness of what is happening within you.
Life does not randomly afford us many opportunities to talk to someone who is truly listening and engaging at a deep level without advice-giving or a judgmental reaction. I am trained in the "contemplative evocative" approach. In simple terms, this means that I create the space and freedom to allow those I come alongside, to discover and see what is "evoked" for them as we, together, pay attention to the Spirit and respond to what's going on inside for them.

Holistic Health Coaching
As a qualified Holistic Health Coach, I am passionate about approaching growth and healing in a holistic way. I believe that an integrative approach is vital because we are body, soul & spirit combined and the development of these three aspects impact greatly upon each other in contributing to our well-being and ability to thrive. A healthy approach is a balanced approach. A healthy life is a balanced life. I can offer support, accountability and advice regarding your health goals which may be in the areas of: relationships, vocational fulfilment, establishing healthy protocols, fulfilling life goals/dreams, establishing new exercise routines and nutrition. Transitions to new protocols can be challenging, so I can help you identify and achieve your goals.
Life Coaching
As a Life Coach, I use open questions, reflective listening and feedback in supporting you to set and achieve your desired goals. Having walked through many seasons of significant change and transition personally, I often work with those desiring help to navigate significant life transitions which we all know can be challenging. Before training as a Life Coach I supported people primarily as a Counsellor. I still draw from much of that experience, but I prefer the emphasis on drawing people out to identify their own desires and goals via a Coaching approach versus Counselling. In general terms, Counselling tends to focus on helping people address problems whilst Life Coaching is primarily focused on growth and forward movement in any chosen area of life.

I believe that we are all invited on a transformational journey initiated by the Divine within us. As we respond to this invitation, we all need support in navigating the growth process. I am passionate about coming alongside others who desire to be intentional. It brings me joy to see people experience life-enhancing discoveries that lead to greater freedom and capacity to express their unique selves; fulfil destiny and offer their talents and insights to the world, as a result of responding to the invitation to be attentive and engage."
